Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Doctors (ND) are clinically-trained primary care physicians who utilize a range of therapies to find and address the underlying cause of a medical condition. NDs diagnose, treat, manage, and prevent acute and chronic conditions, while also addressing health at the level of mind, body, and spirit. Treatment is guided by a unique set of six principles that emphasize prevention, natural remedies, and the promotion of a person’s inherent ability to self-heal.

These principles include:

  1. First, do no harm

  2. The healing power of nature

  3. Identify and treat the causes

  4. Doctor as teacher

  5. Treat the whole person

  6. Prevention

Naturopathic doctors take on a very individualized approach to medicine, providing a range of therapies including botanical medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, supplementation, nutrition and lifestyle counselling.

Facial Rejuvenation Therapy
  • Facial rejuvenation (acupuncture & cupping) therapy is a safe, non-surgical anti-aging intervention. As a natural process of aging, collagen, elastin and muscle tone decrease, resulting in visible wrinkles, uneven complexion and sagging skin. Facial acupuncture and cupping are used in combination to promote blood circulation, collagen production, lymphatic flow and increased muscle tone.

  • An initial appointment is required to assess your cosmetic concerns and explain the benefits, risks and expectations of facial rejuvenation therapy. Dietary, lifestyle, optimal skin care routines/products, additional laboratory work and supplemental support will be included in therapy visits.
