Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist

Danielle is a Registered Social Worker & Psychotherapist with a degree in Psychology & English from Saint Mary’s University. She also carries a Social Work degree from Dalhousie University.

Danielle is a registered member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers as well the Ontario Association of Social workers. These memberships allow her to practice psychotherapy with a wide range of people in need of support or crisis intervention (people living with Trauma, physical, sexual and emotional abuse, human trafficking victims, grief & bereavement and much more!

Danielle grew up in Montreal, Quebec and then her family moved to Nova Scotia when she was 12 years old where she spent 14 years falling in love with the ocean before moving to Toronto in 2014.

Danielle has an innate, passionate pursuit to help others reach their personal goals to become the best versions of themselves.

She started practicing social work in 2013 where she has maintained a mindful, holistic approach to supporting people in need through a trauma informed, client centred, solutions focused, anti-oppressive, judgement free approach.

She has helped many families to heal and better their lives through her work with the department of community services and early intervention. She also currently works for Alli Therapy where she does individualized and couples therapy with parents experiencing loss, pre/postpartum depression, Transition, mom guilt , partner Intimacy etc.

Danielle specializes in Trauma( (physical, sexual and emotional abuse) as well as experience working in a Chronic care unit for people with Acquired brain injuries. She’s helped people with grief/ bereavement counselling, culture-informed family support, anxiety, sexual therapy/addiction & Depression.

Danielle is a warm, genuine & extremely empathetic person. She listens intently without judgment using a strength based framework where she will offer support that is custom catered to her clients unique needs and goals. She has a unique way of helping her clients to use their pain to empower their lives rather than hinder it.
